Greetings!

We’re reading a classic for May. “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne. It is about the fictional Captain Nemo and his submarine, Nautilus, as seen by one of his passengers, Professor Pierre Aronnax. It's interesting to note that the title refers to the distance travelled under the sea, not to the depth, as 20,000 leagues is over 12 times the radius of the earth!”

The length of the book varies from each publisher. There are a number of inexpensive versions you can download from Amazon. I chose the illustrated 1875 edition. Looking forward to seeing you virtually!
