Book & Bar Band Club

For our first meeting, we’ll be reading Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata, a short, funny, wonderfully strange novel about work, identity, belonging, and the pressure to live a “normal” life. We’ll meet at Peace, Love & Chocolate at 5:30 for about an hour of conversation, then head over to the Lion’s Den for live music and a drink. No formal book club experience needed. Just read, come curious, and bring whatever thoughts the book stirred up!
