Museums & English – Explore Seville, Speak English

Do you love museums and want to improve your English conversation skills?

Join me for a fortnightly visit to one of Seville’s museums, where we’ll explore artworks, objects and exhibitions while chatting together in English.

This isn’t a guided tour or a formal English class. Instead, it’s a relaxed, loosely structured visit where we look at the exhibits, share our ideas and opinions, ask questions and have conversations inspired by what we see.

You might find yourself discussing a painting, describing an object, learning some useful museum vocabulary or simply chatting with other people in English.

Who is it for?

The group is aimed at English language learners from B1 level upwards who:

enjoy museums, art, history or culture
want more opportunities to practise speaking English
enjoy meeting new people
are happy to participate in relaxed group conversations

You don’t need to be an art expert – curiosity and a willingness to speak English are much more important!

Our first visit

Our first visit will be to the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla in the city centre, where we’ll explore the collection together and use the artworks as a starting point for conversation.

I'm Anna, an English language tutor based in Seville, and I've created this group to combine two things I love: English and museums.
