The Secret Garden

I want to do something different for May. Or to be more direct - I want to see a play!

Golden West College (GWC) is presenting “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The play is based on the novel which was first published in 1911.

The play will start at 7:30 PM on May 1st at the Mainstage Theater.

I’ve already bought my ticket, and GWC has always had good productions. I am inviting, recommending, and encouraging our wonderful classical books members to enjoy this play with me.

I have to mention that Thursday is a school night at the college, so you might have to pay for parking (which is a ridiculously low rate of $5).

We can also meet in earlier than that time to grab something to eat, or take some photos. GWC has its own garden on the other side of the campus, so walking shoes make be something you might want to wear. Just drop a message here.
