November '19 Book Selection: Circe by Madeline Miller

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to those who came out for the October discussion of The Butterfly Garden! I hope everyone had a great Halloween. I went from having over 1000 trick or treaters last year living in Ardmore to 8 this year in my sleepy, new neighborhood, LOL. The wild Halloween was definitely missed!

It's officially November and our book discussion is a little earlier this month as it is every year. Typically we meet the 4th or 5th Monday of the month but since that usually puts us around Thanksgiving week we usually meet a week earlier in November. This month we will be meeting on Monday November 18th to discuss Circe by Madeline Miller. Many of you have recommended it to us for months so I'm glad we are finally getting a chance to read/discuss it!

December is quickly approaching (I can't believe it) so think about what book you want to suggest for next year. :) We will be posting the details for our holiday event soon.

Also, the Fall Book Club Social at Bookmarks looks like it's scheduled for tomorrow 11/4 7-9 pm for those who are interested (link to tickets is below as well). I'm not sure I'll make it this month but I wanted to mention it for those who are interested. :) Tickets are $3.50.
