For the September 7th Meetup we read our first book by renowned author and probably the world's most well-known opponent of censorship, Salman Rushdie. The Golden House was published in 2017 and follows a wealthy underworld figure and his three sons in their abrupt move to NYC from Mumbai, revealing their history and many secrets along the way.
On October 5 we delve into a completely different world, quite literally, with Ed Yong's An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us. Noted on the Amazon website:
