The Odyssey by Homer

The Odyssey is one of the oldest surviving works of literature. It remains popular with modern audiences. We urge you to read either the translation by Robert Fagles (1996) or the new one by Daniel Mendelsohn (2025), but any post-1945 translation would work. We will be reading Books 1-12 in August and 13-24 in September.
