There’s no required reading for this meetup: just come ready to share your favorite books, discover new recommendations, and meet new friends in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

We’re rooted in DSO but open to everyone across Dubai (and beyond). Bookends is a UAE-born bookstore and pre-loved book marketplace founded by Grace Chaoul Karim and Somia Anwar, with a mission to make books accessible and build a literary community. Come for the books, stay for the community. 💬☕
