Everything Is Tuberculosis by John Green - Meeting #1 Fat Rabbit
Details
As a reminder the 2026 is at the bottom of this posting.
October is almost here, and what is more scary than tuberculosis! Everything Is Tuberculosis is a short non-fiction book about the history and impact this disease has on humanity. That sounds boring, but it's written in a non-boring way. Its fun learning!
Following this, in late October we will continue the tradition of reading a Stephen King novel. This year the story will be The Mist! Ranked as his third most creepy novel. And I have to say, this one is creepy. And it's a bit different than many of his horror novels. PLUS, it is only 200 pages long! You can get a standalone version, or get the story as part of the Skelton Crew collection. Should be a million copies out there.
In November, besides a new book, we will also be having the annual catch-all meeting where we can discuss any book read this year. In case you missed a meeting and want to vent. It's a fun fast paced night. And in December we will have our holiday party. A ton of good stuff these next few months. Hang on for the ride!
Cheers!
