As a reminder the 2026 book list is at the bottom of this posting.

This will be a 5:30 meeting based on the daylight!

I'm very glad to introduce the club to one of favorite Stephen King short stories. In late October we will continue the tradition of reading a Stephen King novel. This year the story will be The MIST. Ranked as his third most creepy book. And I have to say, this one is creepy, but not so gory, if that helps. And it's a bit different than many of his other horror novels. PLUS, it is only 200 pages long! You can get a standalone version, or get the story as part of the Skelton Crew collection. Should be millions of copies out there.

In November, besides a new book, we will also be having the annual catch-all meeting where we can discuss any book read this year. In case you missed a meeting and want to vent. It's a fun fast paced night. And in December we will have our holiday party. A ton of good stuff these next few months. Hang on for the ride!

Cheers!
