"Amalfi Curse", "The Giver" and "The Signs"

We will meet June 9th at 6pm, at an American restaurant in the Upper East Side and discuss "The Signs" by Tara Swart on how intuition helps us focus on what matters most, our own instincts, once we remove all distractions; "Amalfi Curse", by Sarah Penner, about an archeologist searching for artifacts in this beautiful summer location to discover an old story of a woman who tried to save her village and her lover with her witchcraft skills;
and "The Giver" by Lois Lowry about a utopian society where everything is the same and only one person holds the memories of the past leading to the removal of actual agency and personal choice.
As always, you will need to have read at least one of the 3 books on the title, but you’re welcome to read all of them. Happy reading!
