"The River is Waiting", "The Body Keeps the Score" and "Hello Beautiful"

Hi members! We will meet on October 1st, at an Italian restaurant in Upper East Side, Altamirano's and discuss "The River is Waiting" by Wally Lamb, about a father and a husband whose life changes completely after a family accident he himself caused; "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk M.D. and Sean Pratt on the story of how a group of therapists and scientists find out that the trauma and isolation reshape the brain and body; and lastly "Hello Beautiful" by Ann Napolitano about the life of a basketball player who turns into a history professor and the life he found with his new family, after feeling invisible with the one he had with his parents as a child.
As always, you would need to read at least one of the books, but are welcome to read all three of them.
Also, being one day after Halloween, I would suggest you walk through 78th st reet from Park Ave to York ave at the restaurants and see the decorated houses on the way. 78th street is one of the most decorated streets of Upper East Side for Halloween.
