# 📚 Books & Bonds
Tired of pubs, late nights and endless small talk?
Come spend a slow, cozy afternoon in the park with a book and some good company.
Books & Bonds is a relaxed reading meetup where we can read our own books, chat about what we're reading, talk about life — or simply enjoy being around other people without having to constantly make conversation.
You don't need to finish a book, read the same book as everyone else, or even be a particularly social person. Come alone, bring your current read, find a spot on the grass and stay for as long as you like. You can join at any time.

Snacks and drinks to share are absolutely optional, but always very welcome!
### A typical meetup
4:30–5:00 — Introduction & settling in
A quick hello, introductions and a chance to find a comfortable spot.
5:00–6:00 — Reading time
Quietly read your own book. No pressure to socialize.
6:00–7:00 — Mingling & book chat
Chat about books, life, random things — or nothing in particular.
🌈 Everyone is welcome. We're especially happy to welcome international and queer members and anyone looking for a friendly, low-pressure way to meet people.
Let's create a space where you can come as you are, make genuine connections, or simply spend a nice afternoon reading around other people.
Kindness, respect and consent come first.

Stanchi dei pub, delle serate fino a tardi e delle infinite conversazioni di circostanza?
Passiamo insieme un pomeriggio tranquillo al parco, con un libro e un po' di buona compagnia.
Books & Bonds è un meetup di lettura informale e rilassato: ognuno legge il proprio libro, possiamo parlare di quello che stiamo leggendo, della vita — oppure semplicemente stare insieme senza dover riempire ogni momento con una conversazione.
Non devi finire un libro, leggere lo stesso libro degli altri o essere particolarmente socievole. Puoi venire anche da solo/a, portare la tua lettura del momento, trovare un posto sull'erba e restare quanto vuoi. Puoi unirti in qualsiasi momento.

16:30–17:00 — Presentazioni & sistemazione
Un breve momento per conoscerci, presentarci e trovare un posto comodo.
17:00–18:00 — Lettura
Un'ora di lettura tranquilla. Nessun obbligo di socializzare.
18:00–19:00 — Chiacchiere & libri
Parliamo di libri, della vita, di cose a caso — oppure di niente in particolare.
🌈 Tutte le persone sono benvenute. La comunità internazionale e queer è particolarmente benvenuta, così come chiunque cerchi un modo semplice e poco stressante per conoscere nuove persone.
Creiamo insieme uno spazio in cui poter essere semplicemente se stessi, stringere connessioni autentiche o anche solo trascorrere un bel pomeriggio leggendo in compagnia.
