Books, Films & More Club September Meetup: Theme is "Autumn"

Details

Welcome to the first gathering of Books, Films & More Club — a monthly meetup for curious, creative people who enjoy thoughtful conversation around books, music, films, and more.

Inspired by the spirit of old-world salons (but with better beer), this is not a book club or a lecture — it’s a space to explore what moves us, sparks us, and connects us.

Every month, we center the conversation around a theme.
This month’s theme is: Autumn

AGENDA
Welcome & Intros (15 mins) A quick check-in to get to know one another and ease into the evening.

Theme Exploration – "Autumn" (30 mins)
We’ll reflect on our theme together by sharing one small thing that speaks to it — it could be:

  • a book passage that moved you
  • a scene from a movie/show/series
  • a song you keep returning to

No need to prepare anything fancy — just bring something meaningful to you. We'll use it as a spark for conversation.

Recommendations of the month (30 mins)
Each person shares something they’ve recently read, watched, listened to, or tasted — and why it stuck with them. This is where the magic of exchange really happens.

Close & Carry-Out (10 mins)
We’ll wrap with reflections and ideas we’re taking with us — and a quick preview of what’s next.

Who is this for? Anyone curious, kind, and open to exploring culture, creativity, and deeper conversation in a relaxed setting.

Post-Event Resource: After the meetup, attendees will receive a curated document compiling all the references and ideas shared — books, films, songs, and more — to keep the inspiration going.
