*Light from Uncommon Stars* is a mix of fantasy and science fiction. Shizuka Satomi, a violin teacher, has made a deal with the devil to deliver 7 souls to escape her own damnation and is in search of the last soul. Katrina Nguyen is a trans runaway with a flair for violin. Lan Tran is an interstellar refugee who runs a donut shop, where Shizuka stops one day. The life of these three become intertwined.
