Hi Bee Members! This month we'll be reading "Tales of the City" by Armistead Maupin. This has been a top favorite and a reoccurring recommendation from one of our members, David! So I can't wait to read it and get enraptured by this tale with you folks!

You're welcome to attend even if you haven't quite finished the book, as long as you don't mind spoilers being discussed. Attendees should generally expect to order something to eat or drink.

Here's a description of the book:

San Francisco, 1976. A naïve young secretary, fresh out of Cleveland, tumbles headlong into a brave new world of laundromat Lotharios, pot-growing landladies, cut throat debutantes, and Jockey Shorts dance contests. The saga that ensues is manic, romantic, tawdry, touching, and outrageous—unmistakably the handiwork of Armistead Maupin.

Rated: 3.99 on Goodreads
