ART HISTORY LECTURE - Georgia O'Keeffe

This is a lecture series on American artists, and this speaker is phenomenal. She not only discusses the art, but teaches history from the time period, and includes lots of fun anecdotal stories that bring the artist to life.

This one should be extra special as Georgia O'Keeffe is from Sun Prairie!
Called the "Mother of American modernism", O'Keeffe gained international recognition for her paintings of natural forms, particularly flowers and desert-inspired landscapes, which were often drawn from and related to places and environments in which she lived.

The event is free, but the library asks for folks to register.
