Seeing Black Holes presented by Dr. Leia Medeiros
Join us as UWM's new Professor, Dr. Lia Medeiros discusses how telescopes all over the world came together to take the first ever image of a black hole and how she used this image to test Einstein's theory of gravity. She will also discuss how she used her new machine learning algorithm to make the highest resolution image of a black hole to date.
The event will be held in the planetarium. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and there will be a cash bar available on the concourse.
