What we’re about
Boomers of the Finger Lakes is a group for singles ages 50+ that want to get out and have fun. Boomers' goal is to bring other single Seniors together in friendship. Most members are retired; some still work FT or PT. We live mainly in Ontario, Wayne, Yates and Seneca counties. The average age is currently 65+. We have planned activities every week. We have an atmosphere of fun and laughs, with an attitude of "it’s my turn now."
The group was established several years ago. We decided to join meetup in Nov 2012 to reach more potential members in the area.We are based in Canandaigua, NY. Most of our activities take place East/South of Rochester NY.
Potential members are invited to attend up to two events as our guest. After that, we require dues of just $10 per year to cover operating costs. You will receive a membership card that entitles you to group discounts at some events. We have a host at most events, so you’ll always have someone to meet up with. Come join us!
