Join the Blue Ridge Group of Sierra Club on a guided, eco-tour kayaking outing on the New River this August 9th at RiverGirl Fishing Co.! Explore the unique environment, natural beauty, and rich history of the ancient Blue Ridge Mountains and scenic New River of North Carolina, led by experienced guides who are passionate about the environment and outdoor activities, while promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices. \*\*Spots are limited so please register ASAP!\*\*

Kayaks and life vests will be provided along with light snacks! Attendees will be expected to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and water-activity, bring their own reusable water bottles, and be comfortable with kayaking. If you have your own kayak, paddle, and life-vest you are welcome to bring them!

There is no charge for this hike and it is open to both Sierra Club members and to non-members. We do require participants sign a standard liability waiver at the trailhead or when registering.

No unaccompanied minors will be permitted to participate. This event is sponsored by Sierra Club's Blue Ridge Group.
