Woodland Club - Woodland Arts & Tree Faces

Details

Step into the beautiful surroundings of Jays Wood, (Boughton-under-Blean), this summer and reconnect with nature through a hands-on, confidence-building series of four relaxed and welcoming woodland sessions.

Designed to bring people of all ages together, these Friday evenings offer the perfect opportunity to explore a variety of outdoor skills, nature-based crafts, and group activities that deepen your connection with the woodland—and with each other.
Whether you’re new to bushcraft, love spending time outdoors, or simply want to slow down and enjoy the calming rhythm of the forest, each session invites you to build real woodland skills, meet new people, and embrace creativity in a supportive and fun environment.
No previous experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get stuck in!
About this event

This is a playful, creative session designed to spark your imagination and help you see the forest in a whole new way.
Using natural materials, we’ll create woodland art, connect with trees, and explore how creativity and nature go hand in hand.
It's a joyful, relaxed evening where everyone can express themselves, try something new, and take pride in what they’ve made—all with the calming sounds and sights of the forest as inspiration.
About your hosts

The Woodland Club is led by Max and Ian, two passionate and experienced outdoor educators who work locally at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, supporting young people through nature-based learning. Between them, they bring years of hands-on experience in outdoor education, bushcraft, and woodland skills, creating safe, engaging and inclusive sessions for all. Their approach is calm, supportive, and adaptable—whether you're a complete beginner or already comfortable in the woods, Max and Ian are there to guide, encourage, and share their love of the natural world with everyone who joins.
