Join us for a memorable walk at the Active Travel Day organised by Faversham Town Council in Faversham on 1st June!
We’ll start at Faversham Rec Ground, following the historic Saxon Shore Way and the King Charles III England Coast Path towards the coast , walking through the tranquil Graveney Marshes, passing by the stunning South Swale Nature Reserve, and continue on to Goodnestone, winding through orchards and fields back to the starting point.
A perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the beauty of the Kent countryside! Don’t miss this unforgettable adventure!

Important: The walk starts promptly on time. If you're running a bit behind schedule, give us a call to inform us (you'll find our number on your booking confirmation if you've booked through the website, or message Ian Henderson via MeetUp).

Friendly dogs are welcome! Please ensure they're leashed when needed, especially around fields with livestock. The owner is fully responsible for their furry friend.

Before hitting the trail, make sure to pack:
A. Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
B. A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days
C. Drinking water and a snack
D. Personal medication (Let us know confidentially about any medical conditions)
E. Suitable walking attire

Please do not attend if you have any COVID symptoms.
We take photos on our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you don't want to be included, let us know on the day.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 4 days before the event will receive a credit note for a future walk, valid for 90 days.
