### Saturday 7 February 2026

Your adventure kicks off at 10 am where we will meet in Hythe where you will meet your hosts. From there we will spent the day paddling up the Royal Military Canal. A river with much beauty and historical significance having once been part of the fortification during the Napoleonic wars with France in 1973. During your paddle we will pass many historic sights from this war as well as world war 2.
Guiding you is Ana, a British Canoeing Level 3 Coach and seasoned expedition leader with a wealth of experience navigating Britain’s and Europe’s waterways. Her enthusiasm and expertise will make this adventure both exciting and unforgettable.
After a day paddling there will be time to settle into your hotel rooms, and explore the historic town of Hythe before we head out for a meal in the evening.

### Sunday 8th February

After breakfast we will meet in the hotel lobby for a guided and informative hike around the historic area of Hythe. During the day you will pass remains of an ancient castle as well as visit the famous sound mirrors that were designed to detect incoming aircraft.
The day will be guided by Ian Henderson from Boots On Adventures. Ian has been leading walking adventures for most of his life and has a real passion for the outdoors, nature and that sits on it.
We’ll wrap up this incredible weekend around 2:30 pm, sending you off feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and filled with lasting memories of your time in nature. This is the ultimate way to end a truly extraordinary getaway!
