Explore the History of Sandwich, Woodnesborough & Worth

A quick intro
On 12 April, we’ll be strolling from the historic town of Sandwich into the surrounding countryside and villages.
The walk starts at Guildhall Car Park, Sandwich, weaving through the town’s unique architecture before heading out across open countryside to visit Worth and Woodnesborough, looping back to Sandwich.
Along the way, we’ll hear tales of a corset maker turned revolutionary, kings falling in love with barmaids, and a village with deeply pagan origins.
