## Midweek Ramble: A Heritage Walk Through Shoreham’s Countryside

### A quick intro

Join us on Wednesday 8th July for a beautiful circular walk from Shoreham, a charming Kent village nestled in the Darent Valley. This 10 km route includes one short but punchy hill at the beginning, gaining most of the route’s 153m elevation, followed by rolling, easy countryside paths.
The walk offers a peaceful mix of woodland, open fields, and farm tracks, with plenty of opportunity for reflection or chat in good company.

A short, energising hill climb to start
Beautiful views over the Kent Downs
Quiet and scenic countryside route
Starts and ends right at Shoreham Station

  • Notes:

Total ascent: 153 metres, mostly in the first section
Bring water and a snack — few facilities on the trail
Suitable for most walkers with moderate fitness
Walking boots or trail shoes recommended
