In addition to observing, describing, and participating in the present moment, mindfulness 'how' skills guide us in practicing mindfulness effectively. These include doing so non-judgmentally, one-mindfully, and effectively, helping us cultivate a sense of presence and focus in our daily lives.

In the DBT skills group we will cover some useful skills based on the material on Marsha Linehan's DBT therapy. Skills will be related to mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
