Today, we begin our journey into mindfulness. Mindfulness is about being fully present in the moment without judgment. It can help us manage our emotions better. Through mindfulness, we can develop emotional control and compassion for ourselves and others. Remember, there's no right or wrong way to do this; it's a practice.

We will discuss a different topic in each session, ranging from self compassion, radical acceptance, and gratitude.

Sessions will be about an hour in length. We will open with a brief grounding meditation, check in, talk about some concepts in mindfulness, sit for a 20 minute practice, discuss our experience, then review the home practice for the upcoming week.

All you need to bring is yourself. We prefer if folks keep their cameras on during the session to ensure the privacy of all members, and to keep us accountable during our practice and discussions. You can sit or lie down for our practices, no need to have a meditation cushion, just come as you are!
