What we’re about
Want to get out of Boring-ton and visit National Parks and/or other exciting places around the US on a low budget? This is what this group is aiming for.
Low budget is the keyword of this group. We will share rides either in a rental car or my car or anybody's car and split the costs of gas. We will split accommodations costs.
Group member limit: 5
Meetings will be in person only. No meetings are allowed if there are no more than two attendees.
Pre-joining questions will be required to get an idea of who everyone is in the group and what they are looking for. This information will be share with everyone in the group upon joining. There are a total of five questions:
- Age/gender/sex (This is to make sure that everyone is comfortable with group that they might be traveling with)
- History of felony/crime (This is for the safety of the group)
- Smoke/weed/drugs/alcohol (None of these will be tolerated)
- Profession (This gives us an idea of what we all do for a living)
- Adventures you've been to + new adventures you want to go (This will help us as a group to decide and plan a viable low budget yet still enjoyable adventure that we can all go to, feel free to share anything you're comfortable with, what your experiences are, and where you want to go next, etc. This can also be a helpful resource for anyone wishing to travel by themselves. Hopefully we can share some tips with everyone)
I will start - I am 35, male, no history of crime or speeding tickets, I don't do drugs/smoke/weed/alcohol. I am an engineer specializing in motion control and sensor algorithms.
