Cháo! On Sunday, May 3rd we're off to Vietnam! 🇻🇳 We'll take a metaphorical xe ôm ("say ohm", hug vehicle) to 3 destinations. 😊 See more below.
Early birds 🦚
We'll meet at Lê Phin for Vietnamese coffee, matcha, and other drinks from 11am to 11:45am

Main event 🍜
Then we'll walk 20 minutes to La Dong for our 9 person reservation at 12:15pm. (Feel free to meet us there!) Dishes include pho, banh mi, crab fried rice, chilean sea bass, turmeric and dill fish, pork chop rice beef short ribs curry, and duck tamarind.
Very important: Please arrive by 12:15pm as they won't seat our party unless everyone is there. If someone shows up late, they will seat the next available party instead of our entire party. And there's a no show fee of $20 per person so we are taking $20 deposits for this event. (Venmo or zelle Fouad otherwise you will not be included.) Of course this money can be used towards your food and drink purchases. If you spent less than $20 then we'll return the rest. But if you don't show up or cancel within 72 hours, we will keep your money.

Dessert 🍰
After La Dong, we'll walk 20 minutes to Lady Wong for lots of delicious Asian desserts like black sesame cake, green matcha tart, and yellow glazed coconut pastries.

The not so fun rule on RSVPs
Please only RSVP if you think you can make it and adjust your RSVP asap if anything changes (as there are other people who would like your spot). Two no shows or cancellations within 6 hours results in a 4 month ban. I will send a reminder 24 hours in advance to the group. For our event at La Dong, you will lose your $20 deposit if you don't show up or cancel your reservation within 72 hours.
