On Saturday, October 31st, let’s enjoy a hike in Rockefeller State Park Preserve! 🥾🍂

8:30am to 3pm (if taking MetroNorth/rideshare)
10:10am to 1:30pm (if driving to RSPP Visitor Center)

Taking Rideshare/driving to Rockefeller State Park Preserve Visitor Center at 125 Phelps Way, Pleasantville, NY 10570

There are public restrooms at the Visitor Center and a few other places

Welcome to wear a costume lol. Bring water, long sleeve shirt and long pants.

The hike:
6.7 mile loop. Will take 2.5 to 3 hours

If taking MetroNorth / rideshare, meet at Grand Central’s info booth by 8:30am
Train leaves at 8:52am and arrives in Tarrytown at 9:45am
Then will take rideshare to RSPP Visitor Center. Arriving by 10:10am

If driving, meet at RSPP Visitor Center by 10:10am

Will start hike at 10:20am and will finish by 1:30pm

Will take rideshare to Tarrytown MetroNorth Station and arrive by 1:55pm
Will arrive in Grand Central by 2:56pm

Costs
Event is free but there are transportation costs
MetroNorth to Tarrytown is $20.50
Rideshare is ~$10 per person each way
There is a $6 vehicle entry fee for each car

Please only RSVP if you think you can make it and adjust your RSVP asap if anything changes (as there are other people who would like your spot). Two no shows or cancellations within 6 hours results in a 4 month ban. I will send a reminder 24 hours in advance to the group
