Microfluidics
Details
This is the initial meeting for people who wants to participate in making open source microfluidics at BosLab.
Radhakrishna Sanka of the Cross-Disciplinary Integration of Design Research Laboratory (CIDAR LAB) (http://cidarlab.org/) is developing affordable, accessible, fully open source microfluidic design software and accompanying hardware, and looking for some early users or beta testers from the DIYBio community to design microfluidic chips with the CIDAR LAB toolkit (https://github.com/CIDARLAB). As a first project we would like to build something simple such as a droplet generator. No previous experience with microfluidics required. All that is needed is a willingness to learn.
P.S. Bring a laptop with you. So you can install all required software.
