Details

Trying to make sense of confusion surrounding class action lawsuits in real estate? Encourage local real estate consumer advocates to watch this FREE afternoon of programming. See description from event sponsor, U of Minnesota Law School:

The settlement between the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and class action plaintiffs has led to predictions of a fundamentally changed real estate industry and the elimination of abnormally high commission rates in the U.S. compared to other countries. Will that happen? This half-day forum will explore the underlying market dynamics that led to the class action antitrust suits, how the real estate industry likely will respond to the NAR settlement, and what regulators need to do to ensure the promise of the NAR settlement is realized.
