Title:
Humans and the Dangers of AI
The other side of the coin
Abstract:
The fear and risk of AI replacing human workforce is quite prevalent in our society. But do we ever think about the risks that the AI faces in it current state from humans? Given that these systems are mostly trained in a supervised regime, today's AI is prone to being biased and unfair. This talk touches base on how these artificially intelligent systems are heavily flawed due to data created by us, the humans; and why ethics are absolutely critical for these decision making systems. The talk introduces methods to help solve these issues in data curation; and create an AI with excellent quantitative and qualitative performance.
