Description: Join us for a moderate-paced hike up Mount Washington (6,288') via the highly challenging Tuckerman Ravine and Lion Head Trail . This route covers 7.6 miles with a 4,242-foot elevation gain . The summit or trail may change depending on weather conditions. Please note that this hike is considered strenuous , and above-treeline exposure can make it extremely hazardous. Therefore, it is intended for experienced hikers with the fitness and gear appropriate for the conditions. Participants should have completed similar hikes—preferably in similar conditions—within the past three months. To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, poor trail conditions, or excessive crowding, the planned destination, activity, meeting place, or time may be modified. In such cases, participants may choose to join the revised activity or opt out. If inclement weather occurs on Saturday, the hike will be rescheduled for Sunday, February 8 .
