Description: To celebrate AMC’s 150th anniversary, we invite anyone interested to join us for an open cabin weekend. Lodging is free; however, please bring the following required items: Sleeping gear (sleeping pad and sleeping bag) Food and snacks (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and trail snacks) Water or other beverages (well water is safe to drink, but it has a sulfur odor) AMC Harvard Cabin is a self-service cabin located in the heart of the White Mountains and serves as an ideal basecamp for hiking, ice climbing, and backcountry skiing. It is located off Route 16 in Jackson, NH, just 2 miles from the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. The cabin includes a large common living area and a full kitchen equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, cookware, cups, plates, and serving utensils. A composting outhouse is located a short walk from the cabin. No organized activities are planned for the weekend. Participants are welcome to enjoy the outdoors independently, with friends, or by joining other AMC-led activities. Hope to see you there—come relax, explore, and celebrate with us!
