Welcome to Boston & the Burbs (formerly Boston Professionals Social Group or BPSG)! We are a group of active, single professionals age 50+ who enjoy meeting new people while participating in many fun activities that bring us together in exciting and dynamic places. This is great place to meet & make new friends "one event at a time."
Our Social Afterwork Cocktail events are usually held at a local restaurant twice a month. Additionally we have joint events scheduled with our sponsor, Sitzundjibers throughout the year.
Sitzundjibers hosts a myriad of events including dances with live bands, biking, hiking, skiing, sailing, kayaking, cooking classes, wine tastings, holiday parties and seasonal outings, concerts, theater and more. Sitzundjibers is a social club that has been active for over 65 years and enjoys the sense of community among its members. Active participation is key to the organization’s success year-after-year.
