This is a Hands-On Tutorial.
Please have your computer configured and RSVP on the Google site for this event.

As part of Google's "Build with AI" campaign, our GDG is hosting a hands-on coding workshop tailored for Android and Flutter developers. "How to Build an AI-Powered Android App with Google Antigravity" will guide you through Google's next-generation IDE.

You will learn how to set up Dart MCP servers, control AI agents using "Review Driven Development," and build applications rapidly. We will also cover essential quota management—teaching you how to leverage the lightning-fast Gemini 3 Flash for everyday tasks while saving the powerful Gemini 3.1 Pro for complex architecture. Whether you are on the Free or Pro tier, you'll leave with a working app and the skills to integrate AI into your daily workflow.

Since this is a hands-on event, please complete the following computer setup before joining:

Install Flutter: Ensure the Flutter SDK is installed and working on your machine (flutter.dev).

Install Antigravity: Download Google's new IDE at antigravity.google

AI Quota Warning: Antigravity gives Free users access to premium models like Gemini 3.1 Pro, but hitting your limit will cause a 7-day pause. Please do not exhaust your Pro limits before the workshop! We will show you how to efficiently use Gemini 3 Flash for most tasks during the event. You can check your status in the IDE under Agent Manager → Settings → Models.
