Intro to SQL

If you work with any relational database, you need to know SQL. This class is designed to introduce you to the basic SQL syntax for querying data. We'll break the fundamental statements down to look at the different parts to see how they work together. You should leave the class feeling comfortable reading and understanding SQL statements as well as writing queries on your own. No prior SQL experience needed.

About the Instructor

Deborah Melkin has been working as a database professional since 2000. She has worked at software companies in product development, helping programmers with all aspects of database design, queries, performance, and deployment. Deborah mainly works with Microsoft SQL Server but has also worked a little with MySQL, Oracle, Informix and PostgreSQL databases.
