Action Based Testing - The Automated Way

ABT is a keyword type method of testing that, when used correctly, allows you to focus your testing on things that matter to the stake holders, rather than on technical requirements.

As well, in the context of automation, it allows subject matter experts to inform the automated test development cycle by creating "actions" users take in the application under test that can be used as both a guide for testing as well as for automating the test.

This technique also gives test managers the flexibility of having a ratio of one test automation engineer : 6ish or so SME's or what some folks call "manual testers".

In this meetup I will outline how we've implemented ABT with the help of RedwoodHQ, our Test Automation Platform.
