Some of you joined me for a tour of this exhibition at the MFA during my visit in April.

This will be a useful introduction to Britain's greatest landscape painter: known for his ground breaking painting techniques which allowed him to express the power of nature like no other artist before him, he was also, as this exhibition shows, deeply in tune with the modern social, economic and historical developments of his day - the industrial revolution in Britain, the slave trade and the wars with France.
