Many of you may have heard my spiel on how there is a rationalist fanfic of Hamlet, it's great, and I want to do a play reading. Guess what we're doing today?
"The Tragedy of Prince Hamlet and the Philosopher's Stone, Or, A Will Most Incorrect To Heaven" is good fun for folks who like Shakespeare and/or rationalist fanfiction. I'll have a few printed copies of the play, and we can share or you can grab your own copy for four bucks on amazon. We will pick characters from the Dramatis Personae, and then sit down and read our character's lines when they come up. I used to do this when I was in theatre more often and it's a good time. I don't actually know how long the play takes to read aloud, but I think we can do it in two hours and if not we'll make a group decision at 4:30 whether to keep going.
Another note: while I try to announce the local meetups in lots of places, the two that I'm most reliable at are the discord and the mailing list.
