Come play Backgammon, in a fun environment -- any level of experience welcome!

Hi, to anyone curious about the world's greatest boardgame -- Backgammon! And hi to those who already know and love this game!

"But, isn't Backgammon something people played in, like, the olden days?" --YES... and, there's a great reason: it's quick to learn, has a pleasant, chill vibe, but has all of the subtle strategy of a game like Chess! Come find out why Lucille Ball, Paul Newman, Samuel Beckett, Vladimir Nabokov, Omar Sharif, Naguib Mahfouz, Grace Kelly and John Lennon were all Backgammon fiends!

We've done an amazing TWENTY-SIX of these, and each one has been a hit. Come join us for some more casual Backgammon play, in Somerville's spacious Aeronaut brewery! (We'll be outside, weather permitting!)

We're going to do it on a WEDNESDAY night again!

Every meetup so far has been a blast, with a mix of people totally new to Backgammon, some casual players, and a few seasoned pros! At the last meetup, there were several experienced players who played phenomenally well, and also several people totally new to the game, who we welcomed into the fold! :)

As always, there was lots of switching seats and everyone playing everyone else -- which is what we love!

Bring a board if you have one! If you don't, no worries, we'll have a bunch!

My (Ben's) number is 917-254-1578. Please call if you have any trouble finding us! When the weather is nice, we'll often sit outside, in the tables near the entrance to Aeronaut. If we're not there, then come inside Aeronaut, turn left and look for us towards the back of the long room. Note that Aeronaut Brewing is surprisingly big inside... if you don't see people playing backgammon, keep looking!
