Seaport Boardwalk Sunset Walk

Details

Let’s inaugurate our meet-up group with a sunset walk on the best walking path in the city, along the Seaport Boardwalk. It’s a beautiful and fun area with miles of interesting terrain. And the ocean breeze is amazing!

So put on your walking shoes and let’s meet at the ICA, right by the wooden bleachers on the waterfront side. That’s the start of a really nice walking path that stretches anywhere from 2 to 4 miles. We can set a moderate goal of 2 miles but go farther if everyone wants to.

We can then grab a drink and/or bite to eat at Woodshill Pier 4 which was just voted by Boston Magazine as having Boston’s Best Outdoor Patio!

Masks are no longer required in public places, but please feel free to wear a mask during our walk if you like.

PARKING
For those of you wondering about parking options in Seaport, street parking is free after 8pm. So you can loop around a few times and look for street parking. There is an overpass on Congress street near the convention center that often has plenty of available metered spots. And if you’re willing to pay, you can use one of the many parking garages in the area. In terms of public transportation, you take the Red line to South Station and walk for 15 minutes or take the Silver line to the Courthouse stop in Seaport.
