South End Explorations

Details
Let’s explore one of the prettiest and coziest neighborhoods in Boston, the South End. It offers a lively aggregation of restaurants, stores and art galleries, in the midst of some of the loveliest architecture in Boston. Quaint tree-lined streets, cobblestone paths, and all things Boston, historical and inviting.
We will do a 2 to 3 mile walk through the main areas, starting at the Cyclorama (539 Tremont Street), and make our way through various side streets to the newest part of the neighborhood, the Ink block area.
We can then grab drinks and a bite to eat at an excellent Italian venue, Bar Mezzana, with its large and beautiful outdoor patio.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
You can park in metered spots for free after 8pm. Make sure you don’t park in permit only sections that are reserved for residents after 6pm. You can also use one of the local parking garages, or take the subway to Back Bay Station or Copley and then walk for 10 to 15 minutes.
