Please RSVP ahead of time so we can get an accurate count on coffee.

Everybody will check in at the ground floor security desk before heading up to the 4th floor. Please bring a government-issued ID for check-in.

Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Some people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and some come and (also optionally) socialize the entire time. We encourage everyone to attend our variety of workshops and events we host each meetup, but it's entirely up to you to just come in and hangout!

Feature Talk: Techstars Startup Weekend Boston: Mini-Build

This event will be a lightweight, hands-on simulation inspired by the full Startup Weekend experience. Rather than a formal presentation, this session gives participants a chance to collaborate in small groups around a prompt or early idea, move quickly from concept to rough solution, and experience the fast-paced, cross-functional energy that makes Startup Weekend so distinctive.

This event is for developers, designers, product thinkers, founders, students, and curious builders who want to make something real with other capable people in a low-pressure setting. Participants will benefit by meeting potential collaborators, practicing rapid problem-solving, and getting a feel for how ideas can take shape quickly when technical, creative, and strategic minds work together. No prior Startup Weekend experience is needed.

The session will be led by Shweta Agrawal, Lead Organizer of Techstars Startup Weekend Boston, product and go-to-market leader, and longtime community builder in the Boston startup ecosystem. Shweta will introduce the format, frame the mini-build, and help guide participants through a fun and practical taste of the Startup Weekend experience.

The Intro Circle

Near the beginning of the event (12:30 pm), we do a standup in a circle:

  • We first announce organizer announcements, updates, and logistics

Round 1 - (7 secs max):

  • Your name
  • What you can help others with
  • What you would like help with
  • Job opportunities you're hiring for

Round 2:

  • Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.

After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized. We sometimes have FEATURES in a nearby room; checkout those events on Meetup as well.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿง‘ Community Discord - come hang out before and after!:

We will be looking to take photos during the meet up. Let one of the organizers know if you would rather we not include you in the photos.
