Boston Code and Coffee @ CIC

Please RSVP ahead of time so we can get an accurate count on coffee.

Everybody will check in at the ground floor security desk before heading up to the 4th floor. Please bring a government-issued ID for check-in.

Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Some people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and some come and (also optionally) socialize the entire time. We encourage everyone to attend our variety of workshops and events we host each meetup, but it's entirely up to you to just come in and hangout!

Civic Solutions: AI to Solve My Neighborhood Problems is our theme, but there are no limits to what you can accomplish in one afternoon. Whether it is a work solution you seek or something you're creating, we will provide the community, the space and the experts to help you build and learn cool stuff

The Experts:
Norbert Kremer is the GDG Northeast Mentor, is an AI Engineer at Analytics By Design developing AI-ready data lakehouses and he is a Google Developer Expert in Data Cloud, as well as an organizer at GDG Cloud Boston. He also teaches Google Cloud certification courses.

Roman Jaquez is: Flutter GDE | Senior Software Development Engineer at Philips | Google Certified Cloud Architect | GDG Lawrence Lead Organizer | Rive Ambassador | Snap AR Ambassador.

The Intro Circle

Near the beginning of the event (12:30 pm), we do a standup in a circle:

• We first announce organizer announcements, updates, and logistics

Round 1 - (7 secs max):

• Your name
• What you can help others with
• What you would like help with
• Job opportunities you're hiring for

Round 2:

• Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.

After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized. We sometimes have FEATURES in a nearby room; checkout those events on Meetup as well.
