The next edition of BCBB-takes-over-Meadhall will be held December 6th, courtesy of Bryan Wells of Darkhorse Talent. Come and join your friends and colleagues for a night of great beer, free food, comp bio shop talk, and networking. We'll be upstairs at Meadhall in our usual space, just look for the group of people having a spirited debate about MOFA vs iCluster, or Isilon vs Avere (It's also okay if you just want to have normal human conversations). Bryan Wells is graciously providing us with a wide selection of free pub food. All computational biologists and bioinformaticians are welcome regardless of skill level, from lifelong hardcore Bayesian modelers to people who are starting to think about learning just enough programming to make science go faster. See old friends, mentors, students, and make new connections while sharing tales of comp bio triumph and woe over Meadhall's wide selection of beers. Finally, if you were thinking about testing the employment waters or were just curious about what's out there and what comes next in your career, Bryan will be on hand and more than happy to chat.
