StartUp Stories: Invisawear w/ Special Guests Formlabs!

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to announce that for our next event we will be hearing from invisaWear. This team is from our 2017 cohort and is working on some really cool applications of connected devices in the realm of emergency response and social impact!

"During an emergency, people need to contact help as quickly as possible. However, many times people don’t have enough time to reach their phone before it’s too late. invisaWear has designed and developed smart jewelry, watches and accessories that allow users to instantly contact friends, family and/or police in the event of an emergency. With the push of a button, users can send an alert message containing their GPS location to pre-configured emergency contacts."

Up to this point, much of the prototyping efforts from InvisaWear have been completed using a Form2 SLA Printer. Formlabs has been gracious enough to come by with a demo and some tips for optimizing future prototypes.
