Lightning Talks Theme: Development Workflow

Lets talk Development and Deployment Workflow. This wide ranging topic affects the daily lives of Drupal developers and system administrators. Like many things with Drupal, there are a number of ways to approach this. Each method has advantages and disadvantages depending on the specific use case. Some presentation ideas might include:

• D8 Configuration Management for multiple environments

• Acquia/Pantheon/Platform deployment workflows

• Git branching strategies

• Continuous Integration providers and strategies

• Optimal IDE configuring

• Code hosting comparison (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, ...)

• Composer tips and tricks

• Workflows for compiled Sass and CSS themes.

Volunteers get between 5 to 10 minutes to present a talk, question or presentation. No need to be prepared in advance.
