Sunday Brunch at (Literally) the Oldest Tavern in Massachusetts
Details
Susan is back from vacation and ready to partaaay... well as much as you can on a Sunday morning, I guess.
Join her for Sunday brunch on June 3rd at the historic Warren Tavern in Charlestown. Their website boasts that they are one of the oldest taverns in the United States, having served founding fathers such as George Washington and Paul Revere, and is the oldest in Massachusetts. In the shadow of the Bunker Hill Monument, it was "also one of the first buildings raised after Charlestown was sacked by the British."

The closest T stop is the Bunker Hill Community College orange line stop. It's a 10-minute/0.4 mile walk to the Warren Tavern. Parking is easy because it's Sunday and resident parking permits don't apply (which is another reason why I schedule these things on Sundays).

If you change your mind, or something comes up, please let me know and/or un-RSVP yourself. This will help me run the event more smoothly and let the restaurant know how many people they can expect. Again, there's no limit or waitlist on this event.

Also, please either bring cash and/or make sure you're signed up for Venmo and ApplePay. We usually break down the entire party into separate bills with 4-5 people each. This way, it's not onerous on us to figure out 1 big bill and it won't drive the server crazy with 20 separate checks. This might sound complicated, but it's actually very simple and has been quite successful.
